- Believe it or not, there are still
a lot of homeless cats in New Orleans from Hurricane
Katrina. We are working with the main shelter there to
bring some young cats and kittens to Texas CARES for
adoption. Stay tuned. If you are interested in
helping us foster these cats, or want to volunteer at
adopt-a-pet to help us get them adopted, please click on

- You can now also support Texas CARES
on ebay. Through MissionFish and ebay GivingWorks you
can sell those unwanted items you have and donation a

- We now have a "Wish Box" at the West
Plano PETsmart during Adopt-a-pet hours. You can drop
off any donation goods in this box from 11:30am to 4:15pm
