Welcome to Texas CARES 

Texas CARES is celebrating its 18th anniversary as a non-profit animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides for abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We also educate the public about the humane treatment of all animals and the responsibility of pet ownership, and have lots of great resources for your pet. Please consider adopting or fostering one of our cats, or find out other ways you can volunteer to help.
